1. Who we are

2. What we collect

• Account information — your email address and password (hashed), stored in AWS Cognito.
• Submitted ideas — if you submit an idea, we store the title, description, and any source URL you provide.
• Usage logs — standard server logs (request timestamps, error logs) retained by AWS for operational purposes.

3. How we use it

• To create and manage your account
• To review and publish submitted ideas
• To send service emails (e.g. email confirmation, password reset, and — if you opt in — product updates)
• To monitor for errors and maintain service reliability

The Dragon Hoard is free and funded in part by affiliate links. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your personal information for targeted advertising. Affiliate links may set cookies on the third-party site after you click through — see that provider's privacy policy.

4. Third-party processors

We share data with the following services only to the extent necessary to operate the platform:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — authentication (Cognito), infrastructure hosting, and logging.
• Neon — serverless Postgres database hosting your account records.
• Affiliate networks — when you click an affiliate link, the destination provider may receive standard click/referral data. We do not share your account information with them.

5. Cookies & session data

We use a single HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking cookies are set. We do not use analytics or advertising scripts.

6. Data retention

We retain your account and subscription data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records).

7. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
